How we are supporting schools
Over the last two years (2014-2016) Ian Wright worked with both Healthy Schools and HC3S, talking to schools across the county and helping with any concerns or issues that arose after the implementation of Universal Infant Free School Meals.
The following briefing notes were issued to schools to help with that programme and may contain information that is helpful for a productive lunchtime.

In addtiion, HC3S installed ovens, fridges, freezers, hot cupboards and various other items of catering equipment across the county to cope with the increased number of meals. Operations managers also talked to schools, discussing any changes to lunch periods, dining room routines etc to ensure all Key Stage 1 children get a hot meal each school day.
Whilst the programme can now be called 'rolled out', if any schools our operations managers are here to help with any queries or concerns about lunchtimes.
