Surrey Caterers Compete in LACA's Finishing Touches

Congratulations and well done to all our caterers who entered LACA's Finishing Touches competition.

Finishing Touches is a static and live culinary display salon organised by LACA in association with the Craft Guild of Chefs. The competition is aimed at all levels of staff employed in any aspect of local authority catering capable of producing excellent craft pieces. It provides entrants with the opportunity to show off their skills which would not normally be seen during their everyday profession.

Rachel Chatfield, from St Thomas of Canterbury School, was awarded Silver in the Wedding Cake category.

Jo Long, from Woodmansterne School, was awarded Gold in the Novelty Cake category.



Johnny Hodges, from St Dunstans School, was awarded Gold in the Petit Fours category.
