Apple Crumble

A fruity pudding suitable after any main course, lovely on a cold evening.

Flour    250 grams 0 0
Margarine    115 grams 0 0
Sugar    115 grams 0 0
Apples (fresh sliced or tinned)    650 grams 0 0

1. Make the crumble mix by mixing the margarine into the flour until it looks like breadcrumbs. Add the sugar and mix together. 2. Place the fruit in the bottom of the tin. 3. Cover with the crumble mix you created and spread evenly over the fruit. 4. Bake at Gas Mark 5, 375°F, 190°C until lightly browned.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with custard, cream or ice-cream.
