Vegetarian Spaghetti Bolognaise

Vegemince (or quorn)    125 grams 250 grams 375 grams
Onion    87 grams 174 grams 261 grams
Carrots    87 grams 174 grams 261 grams
Water    250 ml 500 ml 750 ml
Tomato Puree    50 grams 100 grams 150 grams
Mixed Herbs    0.5 teaspoon(s) 1 teaspoon(s) 1.5 teaspoon(s)
Marmite    0.25 teaspoon(s) 0.5 teaspoon(s) 0.75 teaspoon(s)
Spaghetti    125 grams 250 grams 375 grams

1. Chop the onions and fry in a little oil until tender. 2. Add herbs, marmite, water, chopped carrots and tomato puree. Bring to the boil. 3. Reduce the heat. Add the vegemince and simmer for 10 minutes. 4. Add salt and pepper to taste and thicken with cornflour if necessary. 5. Cook the spaghetti in boiling water for about 20 minutes until tender. 6. Drain the spaghetti in a strainer, serve with the mince

Serving Suggestion

Serve with green salad and garlic bread.
